Join two 1st generation friends as we attempt to crack wise and discuss pop culture, growing up in immigrant households, and discuss geo-political issues at a 3rd grade level. Disappointing our parents since the mid to late 70's.

This week we meet Melissa Heiman. Melissa grew up in New Mexico and tells us about the annual Albuquerque (hot air) Balloon Fiesta. Melissa talks about studying in France and moving back to New Mexico and started doing improv there. She eventually makes here way to So. Cal. We ask Melissa the Lower the Bar questions and the guys end the with some improv fun.

Lower the Bar 101 - Stand-up, Arcades and extreme sports 0

For those paying attention, yes we went from episode 99 to 101. We have something special planned for episode 100, but it may not be about a month or so.

In this week's episode Sam and Gabe start out by talking about arcade games. The Gabe and Sam then start share stories about each of their experience doing stand-up comedy back in the day; Augie jumps in midway to talk about his first big dance gig. The guy then talk "extreme sports" they've done from kid stuff (skateboards, bikes, inter-tubing in the snow) and water skiing, sky-diving and bungee jumping.  Gabe and Sam end the show with some improv fun.
